Eat - Dining out at Kayak Kafe in Savannah, Georgia

When you live in Savannah, it is easy to get your Eat diary entries co-mingled with your Play diary entry days! Today, Bob and I broke in our new Eat journal and visited one of our favorite historic downtown Savannah spots (Kayak Kafe) for lunch after a walk from Forsyth Park. Kayak Kafe is located on Broughton Street, and they have a small patio section out front that is fun for people watching. If you require a bigger patio area and more privacy, go to their Paulsen Street location.

Favorite go-to items include: turkey chili; greek salad with balsamic vinaigrette; jerk chicken panini with Route 11 salt & vinegar chips; and many, many bottles of Pellegrino. I logged our entry, and then started our "Favorite Restaurants" index in the back of the book.

Eat. Travel. Write. Index. Repeat.
