Pen & Paper Beat Apps When it Comes to Weight Loss

I have used both the FitBook and the Loseit app over the years to track weight loss, and hands down, I have achieved more results when I use the FitBook journal over the app. I agree with Mader on the power of journaling and the undeniable cognitive connection that happens when you are forced to slow down and put pen to paper. The connection is what makes journaling such a powerful exercise when it comes to goal-setting and achievement.
Just as it has been found to be true for weight loss, I believe journaling has that same result with those who use their Work journal to achieve goals at work. And, it really works when you write your plan the night before!
