Book of the Month Club - 2017 Summary

Book of the Month Club - 2017 Summary

Judging by the photo of my drawing, I am obviously a writer, and not an artist, but I couldn't resist attempting my own bookshelf drawing to summarize my Book of the Month club picks for 2017. This was my first year trying out the book club, and I am in love! (No, this is not a paid post, I am just a happy member).

My Top 4 picks are highlighted in the photo, and were: Little Fires Everywhere, by Celeste Ng; Lillian Boxfish Takes a Walk, by Kathleen Rooney; Eleanor Elephant is Completely Fine, by Gail Honeyman; and The Rules of Magic, by Alice Hoffman.

There was one book I didn't finish. It was Into the Water, by Paula Hawkins. I have The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo in my queue, but it will most likely not get read until the first or second week of January. Happy reading! -- Jamie Whitmer
